Manufactured: 1977
Engine: Neil Brown Formula Ford 2000cc
Configuration: mid-engine
Driver: Peter Burdis
Class: Formula Ford 2000
Date taken: April 1978 at Chicane, Croft
Peter Burdis was a long time competitor in the 1000cc Special Saloon class in his Ford Anglia. He move to Formula Ford 2000 at the start of the season and attended this early meeting at Croft to take part in the Libre race. On this particular day, Croft lived up to its reputation for poor weather; the mist was so bad at the beginning of the day, it was thought racing may not take place. As usual, the Libre race was the last on the programme, and by this time Sunny Corner was starting to faded into the mist again when viewed from the chicane. Peter's car featured here was a SF77 chassis which had been upgraded to 78 specifications by means of new bodywork.
