Adrian’s racing careered started in 1968 when he raced Karts for a year, winning dozens of races and setting a Kart lap record at Cadwell Park. He raced Formula Atlantic cars from 1976, competing with older cars, having more success in the 1978, Aurora Series by coming second in the F2 class. Also in1978, he took the outright lap record at Lydden Hill in a March 762-BDX. Adrian drove this ex-Stephen South March 782- Hart in a number of rounds of the Aurora British F1/F2 series in 1979, his best being an 8th place finish at Snetterton.
