Built in 1975 as a dual purpose Formula Atlantic and Formula 2 car, the B29's first outing was at Brands Hatch, in March '75 driven by Alo Lawler and Richard Morgan. The following Sunday it won its first Atlantic race, at Mallory Park driven by Richard Morgan. In Formula 2 trim a variety of 2 litre engines were use including BMW, Chrysler and BDAs.
Alo Lawler went on to win the Formula Atlantic Championship in 1982 and 1983, driving a Ralt RT4.
