This car is a replica of the cars developed by Mike Parkes in the late 60s for Group 2, European Touring Cars. The car weights about 740kg, and produces 125bhp, about 35 less than the originals; this is due to the use of twin 40DCOE Webers instead of fuel injection. Cost dictated 6-inch (15.2cm) wheels instead of the original 9-inch (22.9cm), and a non-race gearbox instead of a Collotti race box at 4,700 euros. Paul is planning a few trips away from Ireland in 2007, so look out for him in the Groovy Baby Series. Jean Denton, Lady Dento, raced one of the original cars, can anyone put Paul on the trail of this car?
