A car modified within the strict regulations of Mod Sports, this car has been lightened with aluminium and fiberglass panels. Note the wheels, which
are are the much cheaper widened steel variety with large strengthening gussets. The 10inch wide steel rims at the back of this car would have cost about £6 at the time, compared to over £40 for
similar sized aluminium ones. The engine is a tuned Datsun straight six and would have given this car very good straight-line speed.
