ginettag12_ engine.jpg (20510 bytes) Ginetta was best known for its road sports cars but also built racing cars, the G4R being an early entry into this market. Five single seater were produced; G8 and G9 were Formula 3s, G17 and G18 were Formula Fords and a the G20, a BRM engined Formula 1 car. A range of GT cars were also produced, the G12 above was based on the G4 but had a mid-engine design - note the front end is purely G4.
