This car started out as a Gryphon but due to crashes and modifications most of the car was changed as was name. The engine was a Ford 1600cc crossflow producing about 120bhp on the twin Weber set-up. The car passed to Stuart Glass in 1977.

This car started out as a Gryphon but due crashes and modifications most of the car was changed as was name. Chris Hodgetts bought the car form Stewart Glass and it is seen here with side pods over the rear wheel instead of the original cycle wings. The engine was a high revving, Ford 1600cc crossflow modified by Cosworth producing over 120bhp on the twin Weber set-up. Chris sold the car to Reg Powel in for the 1979 season and it is till owned by Reg.
