Mallock is still producing Clubman cars, this 2001 model still has the basic looks of the cars they built thirty years ago. These later models have a monocoque chassis instead of the steel spaceframe which was compulsory in the seventies. Only two of the seventeen cars taking part in the race on this day were not Mallocks, a testament to the company's quality and development programme. Jamie Champikin is Clubman's Register chairman.
