Class 'B' cars used the same engines as Formula Ford single seaters, which were "blue printed" 1600cc Ford Kent engines. No modifications were allowed to these engines other than a careful rebuild. The single down draught carburettor can be seen sticking up from the engine. Haggisspeed cars, built by Bob Le Saur - Haggis to his friends, are now considered to be a rare and much sought after.
