Lee moved to America in 1972 and took up racing there. His first season of racing back in the UK was 1978, with the Turner seen here. After a mid-season accident, he concentrated on the BRSSC Northern Modsports championship, winning the up to 1500cc class and coming second overall. Turner was a Wolverhampton based manufacturer which started off producing chassis for enthusiasts. The MkII shown here has a John Roberts prepared, pre-crossflow, Ford 1458cc engine.
