Both Aubrey Brocklebank and Andy Garlick (below) raced in the Northern Modsports and Northern Sports Cars (Scorton) Championships. These early Plus 4s used the Triumph TR4 engines which produced about 100bhp in standard form. Aubrey, now, Sir Aubrey, started racing in 1972 in the Morgan, then followed 20 years of historic car racing. He is still racing today, and plans to race his 4th season for the Twin Snail Team in the Citroen 2CV Racing Championship in 2006.
